It is not as quiet as promised and the speed is not always consistent. Often we will have it on a 2 and it will get louder as if it’s on a 4 and then it will drop back down or vice versa. Otherwise, the fan works as expected

I bought this second-handed and it’s a little larger than I expected but not a problem I found space for it. I plugged it in it swiveled nicely quietly effortlessly and I love the remote! Only problem is that the blades didn’t turn I read the manual to troubleshoot. Apparently whoever had it before me must have stripped the tiny screw that removes the grill. Since I couldn’t get the grill off I was able to touched one of the blades with the screwdriver to see if it was frozen and to my surprise the whole thing was loose like it was disconnected from the housing. Had to send it back. I packed it so it wouldn’t move inside the box. When I received it it wasn’t packed well in fact there was no packing material in the box and the remote and booklet that came with it had not been placed back in the small bags they came in. Yes I definitely wanted to give it a second chance but there was nothing I could do. Looks like a great fan though.

This is a great fan to have in your window to bring fresh air into the house. I’m not totally sure how, but it looks like the motor that turns the fan uses some kind of rubber wheel assembly so the rotation setting is super quiet and does not rattle. My old fan got to the point that I think the rotation loosened up screws which made it rattle very loudly. I also like that this fan can be cleaned unlike other “sealed” fan blade assemblies where the cage around the blades is plastic welded together. It’s a nice powerful fan at the perfect size.
